I am struggling to create clm files from grid files in Diva....there is very brief information in version 4 of the manual..I am also following the brief process described by Julian Ramirez and Aaron Bueno-Cabrera. But I dont seem to get anywhere.
I would very much appreciate any help on this.

I have also a problem with the creation of clm files.
Actually I am trying to built climate files from past conditions from WorldClim BIL data.
I encountered no problem concerning file conversion to Grid format. But unfortunately, the only data provided by WorldClim for Last glacial maximum (LGM; ~21,000 years BP) are only the "bio" files (from 1 to 19, including annual mean temp, annual prec...). So I cannot get the apparently required monthly min temp, max temp and precipitations.
But is there anyway to build CLM files without those?
Thaks for help
Sorry, I fixed the problem
Sorry,
I fixed the problem using stack module.
Thanks
CLM files
Yes, this is an eternal problem. I think it needs to be solved by better explanation AND better software. Perhaps I can build on what Julian has done... It is on the to-do list.

CLM files
Julian Ramirez (CIAT) and Aaron Bueno-Cabrera wrote a simple tutorial to create 19 bioclimatic variables derived from monthly minimum and maximum temperature and monthly precipitation using DIVA-GIS. It explains how to make CLM files and how to export the bioclimatic variables in ascii format with DIVA-GIS.

Here is the link to that tutorial by Julian and Aaron:
