DIVA-GIS

Hi guys new to GIS software and slowly teaching myself with DIVA, hit my first major problem. Hopefully I'm just missing something simple and obvious, but I can't get Diva to open excel spreadsheets it just keeps telling me 'You may need toinstall database drivers for Office 2007 to make this work" well I've installed them twice now and it's still got the message coming up, I've re-started the computer as well as the programs so it should be fine as far as the windows side of things goes - it said that the instal had gone through fine both times.

I'd appreciate any help you guys can give me as I really need to import this data for a project I'm doing for Uni,
